The Adventures of White and the Mirror of Truth (AoW: MT) is a non-canonical game in The Adventures of White series of video games. White and the Mirror of Truth is an adventure-puzzle RPG game. As with previous titles, the game is heavily based around combat, with every character having a unique weapon, with several upgrades available for each one. The game is played from a third person perspective, similar to that of The Legend of Zelda series, as players explore dungeon areas, while an overhead view on the game's map screen. The map screen has enemies roaming around atop it, which can initiate battles should White and his party come in contact with one of them.
- There are three stories in Mirror of Truth. The Past and Present Stories are intertwined, and act as the single, main story, with an extra story being added after the other two have been completed.
The Mirror of Truth has long been the seal, binding an evil spirit known as Magen. Magen's leftover power was used by those in possession of the Mirror of Truth to create clones among the likes of Black, but every usage of the magic made her strength increase. With the seal breaking, and the Mirror's guardian, Gaia, having her powers drained by Magen's increasing strength, she shatters the mirror, and, using her last bit of strength, scatters the mirror's shards through time and space. Unable to stop Magen from being resurrected, however, the evil spirit breaks free from her prison, and Gaia fades from existence, her powers now gone. White's friend, Wiz, tells White that the essence of Gaia has disappeared, and when they go to see what has happened, they discover leftover traces of both Gaia's and Magen's auras, and find one of the shards of the Mirror of Truth. Believing the destruction of the mirror to be the cause, White and Wiz set out to try and find the pieces of the mirror that have begun to corrupt Zolara.
In Zolara's past, where Magen's shard had landed, she manipulates a group of Popopos to help her retrieve the other mirror shards, claiming that they she will grant them one wish in return.
